The online ordering may be booming today, but it is still quite new. Still, Cedars was one of the first area restaurants to sign on with delivery partners 5 years ago, when Caviar and Bitesquad first appeared on the scene. The introduction of UberEats, and the resulting restaurant partnerships that have formed, has taken the industry to the next level.
4 years ago, Cedars owner, Malik Khan sat down with Peach CEO Nishant Singh to discuss a big idea based on a simple concept: boxed lunch delivery to all of our friends working in Amazon buildings. This concept has since grown into a partnership that has allowed Peach to provide some of the best restaurants at affordable lunch prices to most of working Seattle — all while allowing employees to stay in the comfort of their own office. Cedars continues to work with Peach to offer rotating delivery specials on our popular dishes, such as Mango Curry and Mango Lassi.
We also work closely with UberEats to roll out special offers on a limited-time basis, from the occasional free naan to free lassi with certain UberEats orders.
Cedars is also proud to partner with ChowNow at both of our locations in the U District and Capitol Hill. ChowNow even built us our own online ordering app for our Broadway restaurant. This cool feature makes ordering easier at the touch of a few buttons.
